The country house "Casa do Castelo de Andrade" is placed at about 7 km.
from the medieval village of Pontedeume. It's made up of three buildings,
surrounded by a property of 60.000 square metres, known as "Chousa do Conde".
It is full of green grassy areas and woods, and with the "Andrade's Castle
as its nearest neighbour and the only building you can see from the property.

The origins of the house and its possible relation with the castle are unknown but
it is estimated that it may be 300 years old at least in its oldest part.
The opening of the house "Casa do Castelo de Andrade" took more than a year
and a half of a respectful restoration of the buildings and a complete recovery
of the landscape after 40 years of a complete neglected state.

Nowadays, the house offers ten double rooms, each of them
with its own bathroom and common areas decorated with restored furniture
and other elements following the style and antiquity of the house,
but it also offers modern details needed for the comfort of the guests:
one of the rooms has a hidromassage bath and five have hidromassage showers.
The beds are 1,50 X 2 meters, all of them with latex mattresses...
